Wizard Nebula

The Wizard Nebula is a large nebula located 7200 light years away. It is an emission nebula that surrounds the open star cluster NGC 7380. The combination of Oxygen, Sulphor, and Hydrogen form to make the outline of a medieval sorcerer sitting high in the sky. This image is made from a combination of 244 single exposures for a total time of just over 12 hours of exposure.
