The Heart Nebula

The Heart nebula sits 7500 light years away from Earth in the constellation Cassiopeia. The nebula is quite large, spanning 165 light years across. The center of the nebula contains an open cluster of stars with some 50 times larger than our own Sun! This image is made from 183 exposures for a total of 7 hours integration.
